We’re in the midst of the Bucks toughest stretch. 6 games in the span of 9 days. And the Bucks hung around until the 4th against a steamrolling Heat squad. Hang your heads high, Bucksketballers, there is reason for optimism.

In case you haven’t heard, while the NBA is still tight lipped about the official word, Brandon Jennings will reportedly be in this year’s dunk contest. More great exposure for the Young Buck, although I’d rather see him back and effective before I get to excited about this announcement.

The Bucks have waived Brian Skinner. This would lead many to believe, including Bucks reporter Gery Woelfel, that the Bucks are looking for another PG or big man. Woelfel has a reputation for being accurate when it comes to Bucks rumors, but I can’t say I really understand the need for a 4th point guard given the torrid run Earl Boykins is having along with the solid play from Keyon Dooling. A quick look around the free agent pool reveals that a trade is the only way to go for a backup big. Earl Barron, Jarron Collins, Steven Hunter, Dwayne Jones, and Jake Voskuhl headline the Center position free agents. What we really need is 2011’s version of Kurt Thomas, Mr. Hammond.

Finally, an actual injury update regarding Carlos Delfino has been released! Gery Woelfel is reporting Delfino has begun individual workouts with Bucks trainers. While limited, Delfino will work out daily with trainers before being re-evaluated in two weeks. Sounds like we have at least another month before we see Del3no in uniform, but it’s relieving to hear the ball is literally back in his hands.

John Hollinger has the Bucks at just under an 80% chance of making the playoffs. What chance do the Bucks have, Bucksketballers? Discuss in the comments!
