Game Notes: Andrew Bogut missed the game with a virus. Didn’t matter much in the long run, as Ilyasova has a monster 22p/13r effort.

01/07/11 Bucks vs. Heat

Game Notes: The shorthanded Bucks made it interesting, pushing the Heat to overtime before falling to Miami in the extra period.

Power Rankings

John Hollinger’s rating system has the Bucks at 14th best in the NBA.

The NBA.com power rankings have the Bucks remaining 19th in the league.
Charles Gardner also has the Bucks ranked 19th in his JSOnline rankings.
The Rest
Charles Gardner is feeling positive vibes from the Bucks, and thinks things are about to turn around. Easiest schedule in the NBA from here on out? More healthy bodies? That should help.
JSOnline.com has a good read on injury recovery, namely Carlos Delfino. Jennings is quoted by also saying mid-January himself, and Delfino is shooting for 10 days from published date. Could the actual 2010-2011 Milwaukee Bucks be taking form?
Check out the Pro Hoops Show from WSSP featuring Bucks GM John Hammond. Lengthy listen, but a very worthwhile 28 minutes. Most notably, Hammond thinks Delfino is extremely close to returning, Larry Sanders also has Plantar Fasciitis, and is looking at 10-day contracts rather than trades. Not to mention, Hammond talks Ridnour. Very interesting (fast forward to about the 25 minute mark).
Lastly, CDR was interviewed postgame Saturday night by Gregory Hrinya from the New Jersey Examiner.
