Nate, what is he supposed to be doing after 6 years? 20 and 10? Perhaps you need to tell guys like Kwame Brown and Greg Oden that. At least Bogut is the league leader in blocked shots while also being top five in rebounds. Sure he's not an offensive powerhouse but with the likes of Jennings, Maggette, Salmons etc he's never going to be the offensive focus on the team. He's certainly capable of averaging 20ppg but as long as he's the 3rd or 4th goto guy on offense he'll never achieve that. Of course being injury prone is not going lend itself to consistency, especially on the offensive end so until he can string some full seasons together he's not going to be scoring like a #1 pick. Be thankful he's one of the better defensive players otherwise your Bucks might be struggling even more.

Screw the Bucks..Need to trade Bogut. He is nothing more than an average center. For being drafted #1 overall, he is not achieving what he should be at year 6. We need to get another young talent to run the court with Jennings. And Jennings needs to learn how to pass the ball. Trade Cory and Chris.

I agree with you that the year so far is not all that we expected, but I think that is largely due to injuries. You say that we had no shot against the Heat, Magic and Spurs, but I believe that is because we were missing three starters: BJ3, Delfino and Gooden. With the early injuries to Bogut plus his natural recovery time from the injury, we were without Bogues at full force for a while. I think it is unfair to be too critical of the team at this point because they have not had an opportunity to be the team they were constructed to be. Hammond dropped Hobson and then Skinner, so with an open roster spot there is a great chance that we make a move before the deadline. Between a potentional trade, good health and an easier schdule the team can definitely right the ship. If healthy, we could give any team in the East a run for their money in a seven game series. Althought the win-loss numbers don't reflect it, we have played very well against the best teams in the league so far this year.

If you can't get wins or at least compete with top teams, then there is no victory. Who really cares if we can beat the Nets or the 76ers or other struggling teams? If the Bucks can pad their record for the rest of the season against lesser teams and edge their way into the playoffs... what good does it do when they get blown out by the Bulls or Celts or whoever in the play-offs?

The only hope is that for the rest of the season they not only get some wins but they can find some consistency and their shot. We have some very likable young players that I really want to see succeed and step up.

Have there been any trade rumors/interest surrounding Michael Redd at all? Wouldn't it be strange if Redd, who everyone wants gone, wasn't traded and brought in some consistent shooting? I don't think it'll happen, but no one's really thought about if Redd isn't traded. May be a mistake in the long run, but at this point, maybe they do need him.

It is what it is. In hindsight, wouldn't you say it was wishful thinking, or even arrogant, for Milwaukee fans to think that because the Bucks had a strong finish to last season with a sweet catch-phrase, then added a whole bunch of pieces (with a key subtraction or two), that they would just keep right on rolling. Sure, the Central is about as soft as lukewarm butter, but their two supposed best players were coming off of less than ideal situations. Bogut surprisingly still has an arm, and Jennings is only in his second year with much yet to learn.

I was late to the Bucks bandwagon at about this time last year, but now that I'm on, I'm not getting off for a while. Call it Milwaukee Brewers Syndrome. So, for a long-time Bucks fans it's got to be tough to be told to "be patient" after all of those years of losing. But, what else can you do? It's a new team with relatively new leadership in place. Maybe they can catch lightning in a bottle to end this season again and make some noise in the playoffs. But no one was expecting a title this year (or ever, really). Maybe next year will have to be the year. Maybe.....
