Anyone still holding onto hope that we’ll see a repeat of last year’s run need not look further than the Bucks’ 3rd quarters in their last two outings. A 19-0 run on Friday and being on the losing end of a 26-16 3rd quarter last night pretty much sums up the Bucks season. If you had any shred of hope that the team might squeak into the playoffs, the Bucks had to get one this weekend. The Bucks are now 23-38, 3.5 games out of the 8th spot.

As reported last night on 1250 WSSP, and now confirmed by Gery Woelfel, Corey Maggette will receive an MRI on his right knee today. Has the ship completely sunk at this point?
Ray Allen and Michael Redd went out to dinner on Saturday night, reports Tom Enlund at JSOnline. Allen told Redd to, “get everybody on the same page and you have to create a ship that’s unsinkable”. Will the ship will resurface upon Redd’s return? Stay tuned.

It would be pretty awesome if Mike Redd comes back strong and leads the team to the playoffs like some kind of hero of legend. I mean who doesn’t love the deus ex machina. Either way I hope the home crowd gives him a warm welcome when he comes back. He was the only reason the bucks were even talked about for a while.
