<a href="#comment-5859" rel="nofollow">@Brandon </a>
The problem with Matt Howard is, he is undersized for his position and is more of a psuedo-stretch 4. We are loaded at that position and already have a stretch 4 in Ersan. With Larry Sanders, Drew Gooden, and Luc Richard vying for minutes at the 4, I don't see how he'd get any time. Also, can he defend his position? There are too many good 4's in both the Central Division and in the East for Howard to be viable. In the West, however, the 4 has lost its luster somewhat.

Shelvin Mack, on the other hand, is a more interesting case. Overall, though, his toughness and drive to win aside, he seems like a worse Brandon Jennings to me and I wonder if Skiles would let him play.

In response to the article, I like Norris Cole. We have Brandon, who is more of a scorer than anything and Keyon, who is really not much of a facilitator even though he is great on the defensive end. It would be nice to have someone who could come in and keep the offense moving.
