I was very confused with this pick!!!!! The poor mans carmello is an interessting comparison..... I prevesly said if hes a poor mans version of Peja Styocavic, with slashing skiils and good defense, then we may have made the sleeper pick of the night!!!!! And Thats not knocking us picking Leuer..... But i also said the same about Leuer!!!!!!!!!! I just hope Hammond knows what he is doing, because if this move fails, it could get him FIRED!!!!!!!!!!!

I paid attention to him a bit this past college season and I like him. At the SF position, I could see his ceiling being something like a poor man's Carmelo. I think he can develop similar moves and generate similar miss matches. He attacks the hoop well and he will develop a reliable jumper. I like his attitude and I think he will be a dependable defender and rebound at a fairly high rate for his position. We all just have to remember that he has time on his side and the benefit of fairly low expectations from the start.

On virtually all of these highlights, I love how he is consistently attacking the rim. He rarely, if ever, settled for jump shots. We desperately needed a slasher last year who could open things up in the offense. This guy definitely has some potential. I see him as a good scoring punch off the bench in the next couple of years. Will definitely take him some time to get used to NBA defenders blocking off lanes.
