Box Score from Game 4 of 1971 Finals

I’m freaking out a little right now because Basketball-Reference just acquired box scores from every in NBA history. Everything before the 1985-86 season is an image scan. The pen marks and the wrinkles which adds an awe factor to the whole affair. Up above is the last box score from the Bucks only championship season.

To get you guys started on some Bucks history here are the box scores from the following games: Bucks first game ever, Robertson’s first game,  Kareem’s first game, Double OT victory over the Celtics in the 1974 FinalsMoncrief’s first game and the second highest scoring game in NBA history. There is just wealth of history and I urge you guys to explore and share your favorite box scores in the comments.

A 71-point(!) second half helps the Bucks bury the Blazers at the Arena. Walton in town – despite contributing almost nothing – and Dr. Jack gets T’d up. Now that’s a birthday.
