Brandon Jennings is not an All-Star

He gave it his all, but Brandon Jennings was not selected as an Eastern Conference All-Star reserve on Thursday. He’s handling it publicly with the right attitude:

Just gotta work even harder now…….

The reserves in the East are: Deron Williams, Andre Iguodala, Paul Pierce, Chris Bosh, Roy Hibbert, Luol Deng and Joe Johnson.

Seeing Dirk Nowitzki on the list for the West should tell you everything you need to know. It's bad enough how often crappy players have STARTED on All Star teams based on name recognition, but now even the players picked by people associated with the league are, too?

I'm sorry, but I'm not convinced that D-Will or Joe Johnson really deserved their spots in the East this year.

I think a big problem in Bjen's game is who he patterns it after.. The always disappointing Kenny Anderson.. Anderson only went to one All Star game and is more known for being difficult than being a good teammate.. Wouldn't it be wonderful if he aspired to be Isiah Thomas?

Deron Williams as an All Star is a joke, he's a better player than Brandon but his team is abysmal and he does not deserve All Star recognition. That's the only selection I really have a problem with personally, Josh Smith deserved a nod too I thought I'd put Smith over Pierce or Deng since neither has been all that healthy. Other than that I don't have any problems personally.

Still a chance Brandon can make it if Melo can't play during the game, but I'm guessing Smith would get the nod b4 Jennings. It woulda been nice to have Jennings as an All Star, but true Bucks fans can still appreciate all he's done this year without the accolades.
