I don’t know what you mean by ‘give pause’, do you mean that they stopped to think about the deal but rejected it? Or do you mean that they put the deal on hold for now and are thinking about it?

Either way, I think this is the deal to do. Does it just consist of Bogut, Curry, and Lopez? Or are there draft picks and other players involved? I do find it kind of funny that they are unwilling to make this deal because Curry has been injured recently even though Bogut can’t stay on the court for 10 games in a row.

@Marq I like Curry. Would be fun to have a guy who can really shoot it. Defense with Jennings and Curry and no Bogut would be rough, but rather have Lopez than Gooden playing center. I don’t know, everything always seems to end up meh, so I’m sure it would find a way to be there eventually.

Just looking at the stats on basketball reference Curry appears to be a much better shooter than Jennings and equally as good as a distributer. Which seems like it would be great but his ankle seems to be a giant red flag.Also I kinda like Robin Lopez.

One injury prone player for another. Now that I have mentally prepared myself for life without Bogut, this deal sounds good to me, assuming Curry gets reasonably healthy to appear in 80 percent of regular season games each year. But we’d still need to jettison Jackson, and now Udrih, if that deal were to happen. Or not even suit Curry up until his ankle can get much healthier, then DNP-CD Udrih once it does.
