I haven’t been able to see him play. Is he playing well? Is the center position really up for grabs??

I honestly have no idea. I’m familiar with that perception, but I don’t know that I’ve seen data that provides of a correlation between years played and fouls called against.

He just needs to stop fouling so much is the bottom line, refs or not.

He probably has a case with some of his foul calls. NBA referees give the benefit of the doubt to more veteran players. Go ahead and try to convince me that isn’t necessarily so. Anyway, getting in the face of the ref is not going to improve the calls, it’s just going to get you ejected.
That’s a loose / loose.
