I think we have to be careful about turning Jennings & Ellis into some fictitious character we refer to as Menings. If their play together creates a great backcourt and they both make max contributions, then Jellis is okay. But if one of them doesn't put in max effort, it will be necessary to separate and recognize individual play. It's WAY too early to read anything into preseason scores. Perhaps they were focused on tweaking other things in their game...like a defensive strategy.

Ranting is always welcome, AG.

I think this is a make or break season. If the Bucks are successful and Monta and Jennings lead the way, they'll stay that course. If its a bad season and those two struggle - get the tanks out for the next front office.

Good to see some young fellas step up. I was very excited about the D-Lamb pickup (more so even than Henson) and even more so after his standout play in the summer league. I really hope he gets the minutes that his college resume says he deserves. I think it is clear that Monta is not bought into Skiles system (this was even evident last year). I have a feeling Brandon is just biding his time, he knows he can end up on another team without a problem. That leaves a rather disenchanted back court for Milwaukee. What the Bucks need is a culture change. I hate to use the word "tank", but seeing these young guys play with such a sense of urgency makes me wish that they could be on the court all the time. Lamb, Harris, Sanders, Udoh are still going to make a lot of "rookie" mistakes and that just comes from lack of experience competing at the highest level. The more time they are on the court the better off they are. Guys like this have a great potential for exponential growth opportunities. Ideally, we could get some great veteran presence (we already have some in Dalembert, Pryzbilla, Daniels, Gooden)and let them mentor the young guys. Sure there would be some ugly nights, but on those nights when they are firing on all cylinders it would be something truly special.

Don't know why I felt the need to rant, probably because living in Wisconsin means 99% of the people do not care about the NBA, let alone the Bucks. No matter where they end up this year, at least we have a full season of basketball to look forward to. I am ready for the roller coaster ride known as a Milwaukee Bucks season. Go Bucks!

I'm not really concerned about our back court being able to get their poop together when the regular season starts.

My question for you, Mr. Schmidt; If the Mavs do end up buying out Delonte West's contract, do you think the Buck's would make a play for him? I know they would have to cut/trade somebody for him, but he would be an upgrade to somebody like Daniels(as much as I like him)
