In year 4 in the NBA I would have thought that he would finally start getting more respect and get some more whistles from referees but he's averaging between 2 and 3 FTA per game which is insane for a guy who shoots as much as he does.

One thing I enjoy about Jennings is his durability but I wonder if potentially missing a few games per year with a sprained ankle or a few minor injuries sustained by barreling to the hoop to draw fouls would be worth it instead of him slithering through defenders and avoiding contact. If he could draw fouls at 1/2 the rate of the scoring guards in the NBA that would be huge for the Bucks and for his own career.

Do you watch the games? Jennings is inconsistent at being an effective pg even when scoring is not considered. And yes Jennings and Ellis height and strength are pretty significant drawbacks on the defensive side of the ball, their offensive play makes up (in an inconsistent manner).

If Ellis & Dunleavy can consistently hit their shots, then BJ could consistently dish to them.

When young Buck takes control of a game because nobody else is able to score, he's sure fun to watch.

He's oh so close!

Jennings is one of the more consistent players on the team. He doesn't have to score 35 points to be effective. Sometimes him scoring 10 points and having 10 assists is a way better choice when Dunleavy or Ellis are feeling it. Feeding the hot hand is the best choice for this team to win on a nightly basis. I don't mind the small backcourt of Jennings and Ellis. Height has nothing to do with effectiveness, explosiveness, or durability. I don't understand why people say stupid things about the Jennings' height when in 142 shots in the paint last year only 8 were blocked.

The title says it all. Consistency, consistency, consistency. Can they work out a clause in the contract that says if he scores a certain amount and assists a certain amount he gets paid accordingly? But also a stipulation that says he can't ball-hog? Oh, and also grow 6 inches and gain like 20lbs? That'd be great...
