The opinions of fans often factor into the signing of players and the firing of coaches. Fans express their opinion through purchasing or not purchasing tickets and merchandise, cheering or booing, tuning in on the tv, or sounding off in social settings such as this. Owners striving to improve their team’s popularity account for the viewpoint of the fan-base. Fans can make a difference and complaining about mismanagement of your local team can be a righteous cause for a passionate sportsfan. Go post on the sixers board you Pennsylvania hoser.

Curb the hatred toward Skiles. I wonder if contributors here are mostly from the Milwaukee area? The level of criticism throws me. From Pennsylvania, the Bucks are a very interesting experiment, a work in progress, which I am earnestly optimistic about success in the playoffs later. It’s not “personal” from this distance. I don’t get upset that “mediocrity” from the team reflects somehow on me or the area citizens. Maybe some individuals think fans can be repeatably demanding, but that actually is not what a fan is. Surely, these privilege players from all over the world do not have a connection with viewers as it pertains to their trade of choice. Likewise, a viewer need not feel entitled to heap criticism on a group as if that group owes them attention. There just is not a connection in reality. If you don’t like something that you are not entitled to get feelings from, move on, right? If next year I did not like the roster, I would spend my precious time with another roster I could like, if there was one. Does it stand to reason, if more than half ones comments are negative, perhaps its not the entertainment site for you?

The Bucks have a decent roster, if the Pacers and the Bulls can win without their all-stars then the Bucks at least should be at first place in the central division which is not happening right now.
Skiles changes the rotation every game , he is looking for a miracle or a magic to happen, bottom line, thus far, he is a failure, and was like this also last year, go home Skiles!

The Milwaukee Buck fans have seen this rerun for the last 4 years. Everybody in the State of Wisconsin knows Coach Skiles is a lame duck and on his way out, plus not having a true power forward is a recipe for being in the lottery 2013…

The Spurs are among the best run organizations in all of sports. Despite not being a hot destination for the top free-agents, they always seem to fill the void with unheralded players with great talent that develop well and fit excellently into their system. Its uncanny.

They wont change. The poor shot selection and high quantity of shots seen from Jennings and Ellis this season isn’t an anomaly, it is who they are.
The question is: are the rest of the Bucks so inept offensively that there is no other choice but to have Jennings and Ellis chuck up 30+ shots a game?

Watching how successful our bench has been the clear answer is no. Jennings and Ellis just aren’t that great at facilitating, or managing the game for that matter.

It’s simply amazing the approach the Spurs take.. they just stay calm, keep the ball moving, and rely in their defense.. It’s a proven plan while the Bucks seem to be scrambling a bunch of the time.. I’ve always been a fan of Skiles, but he is no Popovich.. and playing Harris and Henso a combined three minutes is freakin’ embarrassing

That’s an astute observation Patti. It seems that could almost be used as a whole starters/bench metaphor. Except now half the bench is starting. But ying and yang is very apt. Starters chuck balls and go down, bench runs efficiently and comes back.

We all know the huge contribution that Beno & Dunleavy make and it’s never been so obvious as now, playing without them on the team.

A lot of missed opportunities for the Bucks the start of this season with these two guys out. They are the ying to the BJellis yang!
