I have not been complaining that Harris, Lamb, or Henson should be getting more minutes. I have been complaining that Marquis Daniels and Drew Gooden are getting minutes because their both bad players that generally hurt our team while they are on the court. Not to mention, they both have 0 potential. Their are at their ceilings. Their not going to get much better.

I think when we don't have them (Daniels, Gooden) on the court we are a very good team that has room for improvement!

Ya but Ersan isn't getting paid coming off the bench money, he is getting paid starter money so who cares if he feels more comfortable coming off the bench, he needs to play upto his contract.

I like how Skiles has developed the young players so far, but...

Has any of the reporters asked why Daniels is still in the starting lineup? It seems so obvious to move Moute to SF and bring Ersan or Udoh into the starting lineup and never play Daniels again.

My only problem with the being brought along slowly is, at what cost? How many times have we seen Ekpe and Ersan struggle in the same game, only to see the first guy off the bench be Drew Gooden? There is no way in Heck that Drew Gooden is doing the things that Skiles prides himself in coaching.. Or the nights when we could definitely use a little scoring punch at the SF position, but no let's let Marq go out there and score his 4 points on 2-7

Nice article. When a player suddenly sits out a game, I amuse myself by wondering if it's simply because he's not feeling his best that night. Cold? Diarrhea? Sore finger? Or if you're Delfino, food poisoning? Point is that we tend to read too much into everything...but that's what blogs are for, right?

Maybe Skiles doesn't start Ersan because Ersan REALLY doesn't want to start. His improvement has been since he's coming off the bench.

If Dalembert is out of shape in practice, then the guys busting their a$$ should get the start and the minutes. etc etc etc
We just don't know what goes on behind the scenes.

I have never felt that Skiles was a rookie killer. He's not a baby sitter either. If Skiles had some consistency from his players, I'm sure we would see consistency in Skiles rotations. Meanwhile, it keeps us dazed and confused, but entertained!

Regardless of Skiles opinions about our young guns, I think we can all agree that Marquis Daniels is not starting material and that a change in the starting line up would be beneficial to the young guns and the Bucks offensive strategy. The Bucks need offensively focussed starts followed by solid defensive line ups to secure leads.

I really don't think Harris is good enough to play all too much at this point.

For all the flashes the young trio (Lamb, Harris, Henson) have given us, they remain liabilities on D. Skiles is right.

It takes time for an NBA player to be consistent.

Maybe one of them will make a giant leap into competency on both ends. I hoped Harris would be that guy, but I admit he didn't look ready.

The Bucks have a winning record, and are on a playoff push, so I can be patient. For now.
