Note: It’s about to get all kinds of press-releasey in here. But that’s cool, because next week you’re going to get the chance to win free shirts. Be on the lookout next Monday.

We’re teaming up with Portland-based clothing company Million Dollar Ballers on a contest honoring Milwaukee’s 1971 championship season. The 71 Collection features the Sky Hook, Triple Double and 71 shirts – which will be given away to Bucks fans the week of January 28 here at Bucksketball.com.

“71 is a cherished year for Bucks fans,” says Million Dollar Ballers owner Greg Beers. “We’re excited to collaborate with Bucksketball in honoring Milwaukee’s greatest season.”

As part of their Legends Give Back program, Million Dollar Ballers offers to donate a portion of the proceeds to The Skyhook Foundation and National Kidney foundation on behalf of the players.

Million Dollar Ballers is the home of legends. Every design is printed on the finest material and made in the USA. You can find Million Dollar Ballers at mdballers.com, on Twitter @mdballers or at facebook.com/milliondollarballers.

Jeremy Schmidt writes the Milwaukee Bucks blog Bucksketball. He founded it in January of 2009 because he hated his job. It’s like basketball, but with Bucks instead of basket. I know ... I’m sorry. He might come off as a bit negative, but I'm really not so bad. He just wants the Bucks to succeed, so he points out areas where they are coming up short. Someone has got to do it and he's ornery and opinionated enough to take on that task. He isn't sure if this should be in third person or not.
