I doubt we could get Affalo/Reddick. If Orlando goes into all out fire sale mode and we can get that deal, it's worth thinking about. Also, by trading for them, you're likely letting Jennings or Sanders walk (unless Kohl decides to amnesty Gooden). We'd lose some playmaking and some explosiveness to make that trade as well. Both are good defenders (Affalo is an overrated defender, but Reddick is an underrated defender) and good shooters, but our offense breaks down without explosiveness and ball movement.

Justin, I feel the same as you do about Ellis. He's an exciting player and I even like all his quirks. But I too am afraid that he's just going to walk. One thing that has to be difficult with making this decision is that the Bucks ARE looking good for making it into the playoffs and do we break up our back court duo just as the season heats up?

I trust that Hammond will do the right thing!

Go Bucks!

OK John is locked in, so now let's trade Monta.. If anyone has read anything I have posted then you know it's not necessarily because of his play.. while the BJellis combo isn't a great match for consistency, my real concern is losing him this summer for nothing.. I have said before that i do believe that he will opt out and leave, giving a pretty sizable void at the SG position.. and with the free agent draw that Milwaukee seems to be that could be very bad.

I would love to see them move him for the combination of Afflalo/Redick.. instantly we would improve our defense with one and our consistent outside shooting with the other

This, I think, is good. The team obviously isn't at the finish line yet (if there ever is such a thing), but you can't deny that the '12-'13 Bucks are better off than where they were when Hammond took over. There have been some ups and downs, as well as a few unfortunate acquisitions, but considering his limitations (the roster he inherited, the desirability of playing for Milwaukee, payroll, the Bradley Center and player facilities, etc.) I don't think he's done a poor job. It will be interesting to see what he does and where the team is at this time next year. There is a lot of uncertainty surrounding the roster and who they will build around!
