I'd really like to thank Ellis for jacking up those high percentage deep shots late in OT. And then, like the true sportsman he is, he got pissed when coach called him on it, and went to the bench pouting like the mature person he is. 9 seconds on the shot clock is just not enough time to do anything but launch deep two's and three's.

Looks like Jennings will be sticking around after all. Here's to hoping that Ellis departs and Redick and Smith come in.

If that does indeed happen it will be very interesting to see how or if Jennings changes his game to be more effective offensively. There will be no more excuses about lacking offensive firepower to distribute to at that point Adding those two guys for the last 30 games of the season would be the ideal conditions for Jennings to audition for a matching offer.

With these back to back games, the bench is going to have to make a bigger contribution tonight because the starters played long, hard minutes last night. Beno & Dunleavy more offense. Udoh, Dalembert, Henson more rebounds. I am hoping our lean, mean team will run circles around all those great big tired guys on the Nets tonight!
