VIDEO: Antetokounmpo propels Greece to Sixth Consecutive U20 Win

Giannis Antetokounmpo continued his impressive all-around play in the Under-20 European Championship tournament. He helped Greece to a dominant 70-47 win over Montenegro with a 12-point, 12-rebound, 7-assist performance. (FIBA scorers are stingy in awarding assists, so I won’t consider it cheating if you picture a triple-double in your head.)

Today’s glimpses of Giannis include: a Eurostep around a defender (which precedes a miss), a drive-and-kick, a contested layup in the paint, and a three-pointer. (Antetokounmpo made two of his four three-point shots and now sits at 45.5% from long distance in the tourney.)  The drive-and-kicks are a real staple of his game.  He shows no hesitation in creating open looks for teammates.

In yesterday’s game, Giannis also had six blocks, including these two.

The Greeks are now one game away from the quarterfinals, in which they are already guaranteed a top-2 seed.
