Giannis Antetokounmpo inbounds the ball, catches and slashes for a dunk

Off the ball movement has been something we’ve written about over and over again with regards to Giannis Antetokounmpo. It’s hard to tell just what he’s supposed to be doing a lot of the time in the half court, but it’s easy to see that he often stands in the weak side corner, waiting to cut or catch a pass for a three.

Coming out of dead ball against the Bulls on Friday night though, he did a masterful job of faking one way, then catching while heading the other and getting all the way to the rim to finish.

The more of this, the merrier we’ll all be.

Jeremy Schmidt writes the Milwaukee Bucks blog Bucksketball. He founded it in January of 2009 because he hated his job. It’s like basketball, but with Bucks instead of basket. I know ... I’m sorry. He might come off as a bit negative, but I'm really not so bad. He just wants the Bucks to succeed, so he points out areas where they are coming up short. Someone has got to do it and he's ornery and opinionated enough to take on that task. He isn't sure if this should be in third person or not. Starting to love this guy. Pretty sure ESPN will have an article about his future in Milwaukee soon. Like they do for every player here that’s any good. Pretty tired of the obvious major market bias.

It’s just amazing how he’s improving day by day! I can’t even imagine what a player he will be in a couple of years, but I bet on him!
    Go Giannis!
