Giannis Antetokounmpo (kind of) blocks two shots in four seconds

UPDATE: The first one may not really have been a block. But I think a majority of impartial observers would allow that Giannis impacted the dunk’s outcome in a significant way.

Sometimes guys will block two shots in a row. These guys are usually centers and the second shot is usually an offensive rebound. It’s an impressive task nonetheless, but it’s nothing that really takes the breath away from those watching.

But Giannis Antetokounmpo isn’t a center. And these two blocks weren’t your typical block the shot and block the putback blocks. He falls out of bounds after his first chase down block, then gets up and blocks the offensive rebounder attempting to finish. When I wrote he fell out of bounds, I meant that literally too. He was on the ground and got back up for block number two.

These blocks do make you wait a second and venture off to find your breath, which has taken off streaking down the street, hollering about how fun it is to watch Giannis.
