Ersan Ilyasova will miss tonight’s game in New Orleans for his kidney punch/shove of Reggie Evans. According to the press release from the NBA:

Milwaukee Bucks forward Ersan Ilyasova has been suspended one game without pay for punching Sacramento Kings forward Reggie Evans in the stomach, it was announced today by Rod Thorn, President, Basketball Operations.

The incident occurred with 5:49 remaining in the fourth quarter of Milwaukee’s 116-102 loss to the Kings on Wednesday, March 5, at BMO Harris Bradley Center.

Ilyasova will serve his suspension tonight when the Bucks visit the New Orleans Pelicans at Smoothie King Center.

When an NBA player is suspended from a game, the player’s salary paid is reduced by 1/110th. If Ilyasova’s reported annual salary is $7,900,000, then the incident will cost him approximately $71,818.

The Bucks may end up missing Ilyasova against the Pelicans. On February 12, he started and played 35 minutes against them in a game where star forward Anthony Davis was held to a respectable 12 points and 1 rebound.

John Henson will start in Ilyasova’s absence.
