What to Watch For: Bucks

Not OJ Mayo. He got all throat punchy against the Pelicans on Friday night and was suspended by the league for Saturday night’s game against the Wizards. We’ll likely barely notice and he probably isn’t too broken up about it either.

The sudden emancipation of fists in Milwaukee is a little bizarre, but less bizarre when you consider it was Reggie Evans and Greg Stiemsma who were punch recently. Those guys have play that’s bound to draw opponents ire, extreme ire in some cases. The Wizards don’t have as much punchy fellas, though Marcin Gortat could get under the skin of a guy like Zaza Pachulia I’m sure. So watch for that: Pachulia vs. Gortat.

What to Watch For: Wizards

John Wall is a pleasure. He’s so fast and active. He truly uses his speed for the good of his team almost all the time. He’s one of the league’s most watchable players and is sure to do multiple things that will impress a nation of Bucks fans on Saturday. We often fawn about the things Giannis could one day do, but Wizards fans get to fawn about the things Wall does on a nightly basis.

Lock your eyes on him and enjoy.

Choose the form of the Destroyer: Andre Milller

He will not take a shout outside 12-feet unless something very strange happens. He will look very intelligent while he plays, because guards who get a chance to back down other guards always look very intelligent. His impact is likely to be very minimal. But I enjoy the work of Andre Miller and I quietly hope he scores 12 very difficult looking points.

Prediction: Wizards 108 – Bucks 98

Jeremy Schmidt writes the Milwaukee Bucks blog Bucksketball. He founded it in January of 2009 because he hated his job. It’s like basketball, but with Bucks instead of basket. I know ... I’m sorry. He might come off as a bit negative, but I'm really not so bad. He just wants the Bucks to succeed, so he points out areas where they are coming up short. Someone has got to do it and he's ornery and opinionated enough to take on that task. He isn't sure if this should be in third person or not.
