Milwaukee Bucks 100 FinalRecap | Box Score 110 Toronto Raptors
Jeff Adrien, PF Shot Chart 40 MIN | 9-16 FG | 1-3 FT | 9 REB | 0 AST | 1 STL | 0 BLK | 0 TO | 19 PTS | -4

Was the Bucks’ best starter kind of by default. Almost matched the double double efforts of Toronto’s big men. Part of the reason Tyler Hansbrough ended up with a double double.

Khris Middleton, PF Shot Chart 36 MIN | 4-8 FG | 5-7 FT | 3 REB | 4 AST | 2 STL | 0 BLK | 3 TO | 15 PTS | -11

Hit the Bucks’ only three-pointer of the first half and then their first of the second half. Hit some other shots too. As the Bucks’ best outside shooter this year, this would have been a good game for him to get some more shots up.

Zaza Pachulia, C Shot Chart 17 MIN | 3-5 FG | 0-0 FT | 4 REB | 3 AST | 0 STL | 1 BLK | 1 TO | 6 PTS | -9

He starts, but cedes a lot of time to John Henson down the strech of this season. He seems alright with that. Second part of the reason Tyler Hansbrough ended up with a double double.

Ramon Sessions, PG Shot Chart 40 MIN | 7-13 FG | 5-6 FT | 2 REB | 5 AST | 1 STL | 0 BLK | 4 TO | 21 PTS | -8

Scored a bunch of points with the game already decided, pulled off the rare feat of being called for a technical foul after successfully making a layup. Also spent a lot of time guarding Grievis Vasquez, who ended up with 25 points and started out 5-5 from three point range. Whoops.

Brandon Knight, PG Shot Chart 43 MIN | 7-17 FG | 3-4 FT | 2 REB | 4 AST | 2 STL | 1 BLK | 2 TO | 18 PTS | -9

Really quiet first half, then a slightly louder second half. Spent a lot of time guarding Kyle Lowry, who outdueled him with 24 points.

Miroslav Raduljica, C Shot Chart 4 MIN | 0-0 FG | 0-0 FT | 1 REB | 0 AST | 0 STL | 0 BLK | 1 TO | 0 PTS | +5

He… uh… well… he played?

John Henson, C Shot Chart 27 MIN | 5-8 FG | 2-2 FT | 7 REB | 2 AST | 0 STL | 1 BLK | 3 TO | 12 PTS | -6

Likes playing against the Raptors. In a rare moment of passion, he got caught up exchanging pleasantries with Jonas Valenciunas and was whistled for half of a double technical. Third part of the reason Tyler Hansbrough ended up with a double double.

Giannis Antetokounmpo, SG Shot Chart 24 MIN | 1-3 FG | 2-2 FT | 4 REB | 3 AST | 1 STL | 0 BLK | 1 TO | 5 PTS | +3

The way he moves with the basketball reminds me of Kevin Durant if Durant didn’t really know how to do basketball things. You can see the physical tools in there, but his head and his instincts need to catch up. The offseason should be a great opportunity for him to get better.

Larry Drew

He seems like he wants the season to be over as much as we do.

Four Things We Saw

  1. This was a “C” game if I ever saw one. The Bucks were never in it or even really close. Even a fourth-quarter run that cut the Raptors’ lead to six didn’t feel threatening. Just an overall “meh” effort from a team that’s more than ready to get the season over with.
  2. In case you missed it earlier, Tyler Hansbrough recorded a double-double (12 points, 11 rebounds). It was his first of the season. I really, really dislike Tyler Hansbrough.
  3. With the loss, the Bucks cemented the #1 spot in the draft lottery and locked in a top-4 pick. Their lottery odds:  Screen shot 2014-04-15 at 9.28.42 AM
  4. The Bucks’ season finale is on Wednesday at the Bradley Center against the Atlanta Hawks. Thus will conclude basketball in Milwaukee for this year.
