With the #2 overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft, the Bucks selected Jabari Parker. The First Team All-American and ACC Freshman of the Year out of Duke University led the Blue Devils with 19.1 points and 8.7 rebounds per game. A former Gatorade National High School Player of the Year and hyped as one of the most NBA-ready players in the draft, Parker will look to make an immediate impact on a young Bucks roster. However, his selection also casts the futures of the Bucks’ other big men – John Henson and Ersan Ilyasova, in particular – into doubt. He and Giannis Antetokounmpo form a young, poential-filled tandem for the Bucks to build around.

The Cleveland Cavaliers selected Andrew Wiggins with the #1 overall pick, and the Philadelphia 76ers picked Kansas big man Joel Embiid at #3.

More to come as the night progresses. The Bucks also have the #31, 36 and 48 picks.

i was at upper 90, was a great time, i appreciate you guys posting the party on this site, was fun, i just wish you guys wouldve made it easier to pick you guys out (who were there), it wouldve been fun to discuss some basketball with you guys. i thought i saw a couple but i couldnt tell who you guys were to be honest lol

im posting this at pick #29, i really wish the bucks wouldve tried to trade up at this point, gary harris was there or tyler ennis

    • Given all the talk leading up to draft I wouldn’t be surprised if the Bucks were trying very hard up for a second first pick, problem is you need to have someone willing to give one up.

  2. so who are we going for with pick 48, Marble out of Iowa ?? If nothing else, I am betting it is a shooting guard..

  3. I could see us stashing Damien Inglis, but we can use Parker and O”Bryant now… I could see Illysova or Henson being traded with Mayo somehow for a younger shooting guard … Only problem would be we have to take back equivalent salary, is that right ?? For one thing , we have an over-full roster right now if I am not mistaken..
