Giannis Antetokounmpo didn’t always have the most polished offensive game in the preseason. While playing extremely well in transition, his half court game floundered — with the possible exception of a burgeoning baby hook.
Last night, Giannis hit a three-pointer and it triggered a stretch where Antetokounmpo scored 9 consecutive points for the Bucks. More impressively, he did it when the Pacers had chipped a 17-point lead down to just five points.
Giannis has so many tools. Once that jump shot (or even a set shot, because he’s tall enough for it) starts hitting with regularity, it is going to open up so many more possibilities for his game. As you’ll see below, he already has quite a diversified arsenal — albeit one helped by Chris Copeland’s defense.
Giannis will be back in action tonight when the Bucks face the Bulls at the BMO Harris Bradley Center.
