Giannis Antetokounmpo’s career-high 18 points (VIDEO)

Giannis Antetokounmpo scored a career-high 18 points in a win over the previously undefeated Memphis Grizzlies. If you missed it live, 12 of his points came in a fourth-quarter battle with Zach Randolph.

After the game, Antetokounmpo added, “Coach (Jason Kidd) trusts me to have the ball in the fourth quarter and that means a lot to me.”

The Bucks play again Tuesday against the Kevin Durant-less, Russell Westbrook-less Oklahoma City Thunder.

  1. I was really hoping that Giannis would average 10-12 PPG this year, but if he’s able to demonstrate that aggressiveness, confidence and control? He could surpass that easily. Also, really liked the look of that pull up 18 footer. DEVELOP THAT.

    • me too. he’s still very raw. if he develops that jumper. he can easily be a top 10 player. the sky is the limit for this kid

  2. Giannis an All Star

Very proud of Giannis as I come from Greece. Excellent – impressive performance last night which shows that the team can rely on him for victories. I really hope that it will boost his confidence and help him find consistency for the next games. If Giannis manages to improve his jump-shooting and becomes a regular double digit scorer – among all other attributes – then the Bucks will be securing an unexpected playoff spot at the end of this year and an all-star representative for the years to come. All the best for GIANNIS and the BUCKS !!!
